Become a member
Whether as a passive member or actively shaping the BDH – you are very welcome. Becoming a member is very easy: Please use the contact form below. You will hear from us immediately after we have checked your data.
Full members of the association can become:
- every student who has completed his education at a university or equivalent educational institution whose curriculum corresponds to the study regulations for the course of studies in Holzwirtschaft applicable at the University of Hamburg,
- every fully enrolled student in Holzwirtschaft at one of the educational institutions mentioned in point 1,
- any person of full age who does not fulfil the requirements of points 1 or 2, but who, on the basis of his or her specialist knowledge of the wood industry, appears to be suitable for promoting the purpose of the association and who undertakes to do so.
The Executive Board shall decide on the written application for membership.
Membership fees are staggered as follows:
- Full-paying members: 55 € per year (association communication by post)
- Reduced rate: 40 € per year (association communication by e-mail only)
- Doctoral students: 25 € per year (association communication by e-mail only)
- Students: 15 € per year (association communication by e-mail only)
