Study programme Wood Science (M. Sc.)
The English-language Master’s programme Wood Science is a research-oriented and consecutive degree. It builds on the knowledge gained in the bachelor’s degree programme in Bioressourcen-Nutzung, but is also open to graduates of related bachelor’s degree programmes for specialisation in wood science subjects. The duration is four semesters.
In the Master’s programme, students deepen their skills in independent scientific work and in integrating their acquired knowledge into social contexts. Students not only gain qualifications in terms of content and methodology, but also build up skills in the areas of cooperation, structuring and leadership. This enables graduates to cope with more extensive tasks independently and on their own responsibility and to take on leading functions in business and research.
